NSW parliamentary inquiry throws a spotlight in IR laws

Public hearings into the Commonwealth’s WorkChoices Law got underway in the New South Wales Parliament today. Today was the first of a series of hearings as part of the New South Wales Upper House Inquiry into the new Industrial Relations Legislation. The inquiry aims to get a worker and family perspective on the effect of the new laws. Stephanie Raison spoke to New South Wales Minister for Industrial Relations, John Della Bosca and New South Wales Liquor, Hospitality and Miscellaneous Union Secretary, Annie Owens, who was at the inquiry.
