Contrary to Senator Wong’s comments today there is probably enough water in the upper Murray to save the lower lakes says Peter Cosier, CEO of the water policy advisory group the Wentworth Group. However he says the information about where that water is and how much there is is being withheld by the states. He says the Federal government needs to force the release of that information so a proper audit of the river system can happen.
