This week has seen a couple of interesting responses from the corporate world to criticism. McDonalds has produced its own campaign to counter the negative publicity from Morgan Spurlock’s movie Super Size Me, and Big Brother evictee Merlin’s silent vigil on behalf of children in detention while originally fazing the makers of the reality show has now been incorporated into show promotion. Dr Jackie Cook says the embracing of criticism is a very effective way of negating it.
