This week the 18th annual Remote Indigenous Media Festival was held in the community of Yirkkala on the coast of Arnhem Land.

Hosted by the Indigenous Remote Communities Association (IRCA) in association with The Top End Aboriginal Bush Broadcasting Association (TEABAA) brings together remote media workers and industry guests.

A highlight of the festival is the Remote Indigenous Media Awards that recognise achievement in radio, film, television and music.
