A recent study found that even mild traumatic brain injuries (TBI) can cause long-term brain changes in healthy middle-aged adults.

The research from University of Cambridge revealed that those with a history of mild TBI had brain changes linked to early signs of neurodegenerative conditions.

The Wire’s Vanessa Gatica spoke with Dr Audrey Low Lead researcher at University of Cambridge about the need for early intervention.
