The New South Wales Middle Eastern Organised Crime Squad has been cracking down, making almost sixty arrests over the last three months. The Police claim the problem is widespread and expect to make many more arrests in the future. However, recorded statistics on Middle-Eastern crime are either non-existent or inaccurate. So, is this type of policing really necessary or is it just part of a political agenda?
