In 2015, a total of 1,209 people were killed on Australian roads, which is a 4.9% increase in the number of deaths from the previous year.

As an attempt to reduce the number of car accidents on our roads caused by mobile phone usage, The RACQ have begun a social media campaign called #InTheBoot.

This movement encourages young drivers to place their mobile-phones in the back of their car whilst they are driving.
