Finally the Senate votes have been counted and  elected the new Senators.  This puts a number of bills like the controversial Tax bills front and centre of the agenda, with Centre Alliance saying that they could support the tax cuts in full.  This means only two more Senators would be needed from the cross bench if the ALP continue to baulk at the cuts for the top tax rate.    New LNP QLD Senator Paul Scarr gives us his insight into why the LNP did so well in Queensland.
