New report exposes crisis in parent migration scheme

A new report commissioned by the Scanlon Foundation is calling for an urgent reform on the parent migration scheme.

The report called ‘The Parent Conundrum’ and written by Journalist and Adjunct Research Fellow at Monash University Peter Mares, found out there are more than 140 thousand applicants stuck in the process, and parent visas could take more than 20 years to be processed.
