New report calls for an overhaul of the governance in remote Australia

Despite good intentions, nearly all current government policies, funding mechanisms and programs are inadequate or demonstrably failing in governing remote Australia, according to a report by Remote FOCUS Group. They have spent three years researching better ways in which remote communities in Australia could be governed and have plans to completely overhaul the current system.
