An organisation in the Northern Territory is developing culturally safe and climate-appropriate housing in remote Aboriginal communities.
The project called Wilya Janta, means ‘Standing Strong’. Its aim is to collaborate between Traditional Owners, medical professionals, and architects to build houses. The first ones are set to be finished in Tennant Creek this year.PRODUCED BY: Kate Lyons-Dawson, Mark Bensted, Andrew Harrison
