Prime Minister Julia Gillard has said she’ll stick with the decision to site a radioactive waste dump at Muckaty station near tenant Creek in the Northern territory, despite uproar from the public, traditional owners of the land, NT politicians and enviroment groups. Natalie Wasley from Beyond Nuclear Initiative says she been hoping that a new Prime Minster would mean a change of policy, but Miss Gillard has been ginoring the cries.
