Every day, women around the world are subjected to serious physical and psychological exploitation from human trafficking. And Australia is no exception. This week representatives from law enforcement agencies, NGOs and government have met in Canberra for a colloquium on transnational exploitation of women and children. One of the key outcomes of the forum was the decision to formalise arrangements between police and NGOs to help combat human trafficking.
