Would you ever pay someone to write a university or TAFE assignment for you? What about sitting for an exam?

That is what’s known as academic cheating and this is what Dan Tehan would like to stamp out.

In April this year theĀ Australian Education Minister proposed draft legislation to stop contract cheating in higher education.

The proposed bill would target businesses that help students by writing essays or sitting exams for them, and any cheating service caught doing this or advertising these services for students will face serious consequences.

But what about family members and friends who help students out, should they be included in the bill?
