New legislation will see Australian businesses required to notify individuals when their personal information is at risk.
The Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires Government agencies, not-for-profits, and health service providers, among others, to disclose breaches of data or face serious fines.
With so much personal information stored online, it sounds like a step in a right direction, but is this new scheme all that it seems?
