A new service launched by the South Australian Government will target homelessness among Aboriginal people living on the streets of Adelaide. Accommodation will be provided through the Aboriginal Transitional Housing and Outreach Service (ATHOS), which the Government says will support the health, mental and social needs of Aboriginal people living in poor conditions.

It’s part of a greater plan by the Commonwealth Government to halve the number of homeless Australians by the year 2020.
