A new community project in Papa New Guinea is lifting the living standards of Madang villagers. The Lake Murray Resource Owners Association began supplying wood to Australia earlier this month. A local policeman set up the project to combat what he saw as exploitation of his community by commercial loggers. – It’s since gained the support of Greenpeace.
