New electoral laws came into force today that, critics say, could stop tens of thousands of young Australians from voting at the next Federal election. From today, you need proof of identity to get onto the electoral roll in the first place, or to update your enrollment details. And if you’re eligible, but just haven’t got around to enrolling yet, well, time’s running out.
