New citizenship test promises less ‘irrelevant Australiana’

A new citizenship test comes into force this week, replacing the original version introduced by the Howard Government. Prospective citizens will still have to answer questions about Australia’s democratic values and institution, but they’ll no longer be tested on what Immigration Minister Chris Evans has called “irrelevant Australiana”.
