Less than six months after the Paris Climate Agreement where Australia and the world pledged to keep global warming below 1.5 degrees, the effects of climate change seem to be snowballing.

In the past few weeks, studies have shown the Great Barrier Reef is on the verge of death. At the same time, the Queensland government approved the Adani Carmichael coal mine.

Bill McKibben, founder of worldwide climate action group 350.org travelled to Sydney to support the movement.
