The federal government has begun rolling out its National Broadband Network (NBN) with the plan of connecting all Australians with faster broadband. The current policy ensures 93% of the population is connected to Fiber to the Premises (FTTP) technology as opposed to the Coalition’s Fiber to the Node (FTTN) technology. The difference is cost and efficiency, but what happens to the 7%?
