National curriculum to include more Indigenous perspectives

All Australian school students will soon be taught more about Indigenous history and perspectives, under a proposed national curriculum. The draft proposal has gone up online today for public consultation, before all state and territory standards are scrapped. There are some concerns the curriculum is too politicised and takes a ‘black armband’ view of Australian history. But Indigenous groups say facts are facts, and students need to learn the truth.
