The non-Indigenous community can help heal the pain from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians Stolen Generation.

Tomorrow 13 February is the commemoration of the National Apology to the Stolen Generation, a date where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians remember as a day of sorrow for the community.

This day also is a good opportunity for First Nation Australians and the non-Indigenous community to acknowledge the pain this generation suffered, and understand the issues the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community struggles.

While a lot has been done to heal the pain, it’s still a long journey to walk.
