Students at Sydney Technical High School.

A New South Wales Teachers Federation commissioned report has claimed that this years NAPLAN results should be ‘thrown out’.

NAPLAN for one in five students will be a glimpse into the future, with these students completing their tests online. This has lead to questions arising how the Australian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (ACARA) would compare the data collected via the two mediums.

The report conducted by Dr. Les Perelman formerly of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology suggested some serious flaws in this process, questioning whether results were a true reflection at all.
