The Wire

Since the release of the my school website teachers have been campaigning to get the government to heed their requests for important site changes. Their concern is that the results of literacy and numeracy tests (NAPLAN) can be used to create league tables, naming and shaming schools and therefore their students. Teachers Unions have been boycotting the tests across the country. One by one state governments have taken teachers on, to try to stop the bans from going ahead. Today is South Australia’s turn.
