Mr Fluffy was a successful asbestos insulation method that filled ACT and some NSW home roof space with deadly blue asbestos. Remediation efforts have proved to be ineffectual and the ACT Government has taken the step to buy back homes. They will then demolish and remediate the land. Meantime, families have to sell back their homes and buy elsewhere. Fairly traumatic, but a number of banks are working to ease the transition. NAB and CBA were not able to comment at this time.
