We’ve heard a lot about forced adoption in the past few years. Both state and federal governments have apologised to thousands of Australian women who as teenage mothers had their babies taken away and adopted out, leaving them with no right to ever find out what happened to the child. Those apologies would never have happened if it weren’t for the work of the Australian Relinquishing Mothers Association.
