The news just keeps getting worse for community health groups across the country after a Senate hearing revealed even larger funding cuts. They learnt during a recent Senate estimates hearing that a combined total of $793 million will be cut from their budgets. This is tens of millions more than they first suspected, but it’s still unknown how the axe will fall.
