The recent findings of the Royal Commission into Natural Disaster Arrangements took into account of significant submissions from Indigenous people with environmental and cultural knowledge.

The recommendations tend to favour many Government agencies approaches as they exist, when Indigenous knowledge suggest more change is needed.
