Traditional histories are being told with modern technologies in a new website just launched by the Victorian Koori Heritage Trust. The Mission Voices website – which took two years to develop – provides access to the oral histories of twelve Indigenous elders from six former missions or reserves. The Trust’s Genevieve Grieves says supporting audio and video clips, photographs, artwork, and educational resources reach back into history as far as 1858.
