You might think women’s income rights have come a long way in the past thirty years but a new study shows women can expect to earn nearly one million dollars less over their lifetime than men. A new study by the National Centre for Social and Economic Modelling shows that while women in their 20s are part of the first generation to earn wages equal to their male counterparts, pregnancy and plain old discrimination continues to roadblock their efforts to close the gender pay gap.
