A group of protestors gathered at Melbourne airport on Tuesday morning to protest the deportation of a Sudanese refugee.  Waleed, (not his real name) had been on Manus Island until he was moved to Australia for medical treatment after an incident in early 2015.  The department for Immigration denies this.  Activist group GetUp! are calling on supporters to create a rapid-response team in capital cities, designed to protect other detainees, if the government attempts another deportation.
