Men’s Health Week: How are Australian Men Really Doing?
Men’s Health Week is an annual campaign run by Western Sydney University, held this year from June 15th until June 21st.
The event aims to tackle the health status of males, as their health often is poorer compared to women.
Advocates are using men’s health week to remind Australians about the importance of having healthy conversations about men’s health, especially mental health.
A recent study by Movember found more than half of Australian men had not been asked about how they were doing throughout the Coronavirus pandemic.
As Australia continues into a recession, experts say it is important to check in on the men our lives.
