The Wirangu Kokatha people of South-West South Australia have carried the pain of the frontier wars in their stories and memories for years.

A memorial recently installed atop the cliffs at the township of Elliston acknowledges that pain and, through a long process of negotiation, has brought the community together in a step towards reconcilation.
