It was a day for “civil disco-bedience” as activists gathered for a groove against Whitehaven Coal’s Maules Creek Mine. Today marks the two year anniversary of the beginning of the Leard blockade camp to stop the construction of the mine, which started in January. While the mine is set to be finished early next year, protesters say they haven’t given up yet, and will continue the fight.
