Our phones have become so integrated with our lives they sometimes take priority over our own safety. And this is true, even when we know better.

Research published in Risk Analysis: An International Journal has suggested that Australians are fully aware that using the phone while driving is risky – for the safety of themselves and others, as well as for their demerit points and in fines.
