As Australia’s population grows and people keep moving to the city, more and more pressure will be put on Australia’s fragile environment and energy supplies. The House of Representatives Environment Committee is now conducting the Sustainable Cities 2025 inquiry, which is looking into the impacts of urban development in Australia. After appearing as a witness before the inquiry, Matt Fisher from the Cnter for Urban Ecology talked to The Wire about Sustainable Cities.
