A new national survey conducted by the University of Melbourne has found that more strategies are required to make effective COVID-19 communications with Asian communities apart from offering multilingual and translation services.

The survey, conducted in October 2020, involved 432 respondents who identified themselves as Asian. The result showed that  over 80 percent of the respondents gain COVID-19 information via English mainstream media, and most of the respondents do not use the multilingual services.
