Major NDIS reforms spark concern amongst disability advocates

Major reforms to the National Disability Insurance Scheme to rein in spending have been met with concern by disability advocates and federal politicians.

The reforms first introduced to parliament in March, include clarifying what items and supports can be funded by participants, and the introduction of standardised means testing.

The government has promised to co-design future programs and details with disability organisations.

However, as political correspondent Noah Secomb reports, it hasn’t been a simple process.
