It’s election time in two states – and South Australian and Tasmanian residents have been subjected to a letter blizzard from their political candidates. Many polies have had a strong stance on environmental issues but claim the letters are worth the sacrifice. The greens claim the cost of the mailout is hundreds of thousands of dollars, but other candidates would not disclose their marketing budgets. Are the letters really effective?
