As The Wire reflects on 2020 as a year of upheaval and challenge, we consider the moments of significance for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We’ve seen long-standing concerns about deaths in custody raised to the international stage, calls for significant change to representation and voice on home soil, and steps towards self-determination and co-design of key programs affecting First Nations peoples.
