Money may not bring happiness but it can be an indicator that you will live longer. This week the Social Health Atlas of South Australia was released and it shows that people in some poorer suburbs are 70% more likely to die prematurely from preventable causes tthan their fellow citizens on the leafier side of town. Report author John Glover says he would like the report to prompt both state and federal governments to make health and housing spending more equitable across the board.
