Lismore 18 months after the floods coming slowly back to normal

Eighteen months ago, the biggest floods ever recorded in Australia affected the Northern Rivers, especially Lismore.

This week, Mayor of Lismore Steve Krieg announced Lismore’s CBD is at 70 per cent occupancy, with businesses thriving and residents slowly coming back to normal.

While this is good news, the community is concerned now about this year’s bushfire season.
