British director Michael Winterbottom’s film The Road To Guantanamo opens across Australia today. It’s a chilling inside look at the notorious prison, as it follows the stories of the three British suspects who spent two years in Guantanamo before finally being released . The film recreates what happened to the young men who had been in Pakistan for a wedding and had decided , just after 9/11, to take an adventurous trip in to Afghanistan. It was a fateful decision, as one of those men, Ruhel Ahmed, told Lorna Perry .
