Five Britons have recently been released from Guantanemo Bay, the island prison where Australians David Hicks and Mamdou Habib are being held by America. These guys are known as the tourist – terrorists because it took over two years for the American’s to realise they were basically on an adventure tour to Afghanistan. David Rose from the British newspaper The Observer spent an evening with three of the boys soon after they got back to England. They told him the harrowing details of life in Camp Delta. You see life can vary a great deal in Camp Delta because there’s an elaborate system of reward, punishment and interrogation, as Jonathan Lucraft found out.
