This week the founder of the cryonics movement, Robert Ettinger, died. According to his wishes, has been frozen. He joins a couple of hundred others in awaiting a second life. Cryonics is the idea of preserving the bodies of the recently deceased through freezing. It is not so much based on just what science can do now, but what it is hoped it could do in the future.
