Lies debates and silences: Study calls out Murdoch press on climate coverage

An analysis of content in the Murdoch press over a year has found that most reporting on climate change is either opposed to or questions current scientific thinking on the topic. Author of the report and acclaimed investigative journalist Wendy Bacon says many factors contribute to the coverage, from an overabundance of  syndicated opinion from journalists like Andrew Bolt,  to the choosing of angry letters to the editor opposing climate science and challenging environmentalists.
