Liberals win over Tasmania, almost win South Australia

It may feel like Australia is in a never-ending election cycle, as Tasmania and South Australia held elections across the weekend. After sixteen years of Labor power, Tasmania voted in the Liberal party, with Will Hodgman to be the Premier. In South Australia, neither of the major parties secured enough seats to form government, paving the way for a minority government. Both parties are currently trying to secure the vote of two independent MPs— Geoff Brock and Bob Such.
