Learning journey continues
Teachers need further enrichment and confidence to incorporate the Aboriginal community into their teaching practices. That’s according to findings from a new book being launched this week that targets the way we teach Aboriginal history and culture in our classrooms. Aboriginal children continue to fall behind within our education system and this book, based on four years of research, suggests ways to bridge this gap. It looks at applying innovative practices, such as the inclusion of technology, into culturally responsive classroom projects.
