Laws to target cyber racism may be expanded thanks to a review to be conducted by the Australian Human Rights Commission. Complaints have been on the rise, and the Attorney-General says more needs to be done to curb racism on the net. But civil libertarians say that such laws will go too far, and a greater emphasis on community education is needed—not legislative change.
